📜 Terms & Conditions – Judy Car Rental Co Ltd

Welcome to Judy Car Rental Co Ltd. By booking a vehicle with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Booking & Payment

• A valid driving licence and identification document (passport or national ID) are required at the time of booking.

• A deposit may be required to confirm your reservation.

• Full payment must be made before or on the day of delivery.

• Prices are quoted in Mauritian Rupees (MUR) and include basic insurance unless otherwise stated.

2. Vehicle Delivery & Return

• Vehicles can be delivered to and collected from the airport or any agreed location in Mauritius.

• Delivery and collection times must be agreed in advance.

• The renter must return the vehicle in the same condition as received, with the same fuel level.

• Late returns may incur additional charges.

3. Insurance & Liability

• All vehicles are covered by basic insurance in accordance with Mauritian law.

• The renter is responsible for any damage, loss, or accident not covered by insurance, including negligence or misuse.

• An excess amount may apply in the event of an accident, depending on the insurance coverage.

4. Driver Requirements

• Minimum driver’s age: 21 years old.

• Drivers must hold a valid licence for at least 1 year.

• Only drivers listed in the rental agreement are authorised to drive the vehicle.

5. Use of Vehicle

The vehicle must not be used for:

• Illegal activities or transportation of prohibited goods.

• Racing, speed testing, or off-road driving.

• Carrying passengers for hire or reward.

• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any other substance affecting driving ability.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

• Full refund if cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the rental date.

• No refund for cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental date.

• In the event of severe weather or company cancellation, deposits will be refunded in full.

7. Customer Responsibility

• The renter is responsible for all fines, penalties, or charges incurred during the rental period (traffic offences, parking fines, etc.).

• The renter must ensure the vehicle is properly locked when unattended.

• Personal belongings are the sole responsibility of the renter.

8. Warranty & Guarantee

• Judy Car Rental guarantees clean, roadworthy, and well-maintained vehicles.

• If we fail to deliver the vehicle as agreed, we will refund the booking deposit.

9. Privacy & Data Protection

• We collect only necessary personal details (name, contact information, driving licence) to process bookings.

• Your information will not be sold or shared with third parties.

• By contacting us via WhatsApp or email, you agree to receive booking-related communications.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Mauritian courts.
